Parish Walks
Effective immediately, the Parish Walks have been cancelled until further notice – 20.11.15

For many years now there has been a monthly Parish Walk. Led by a local volunteer, the walk takes place on varied local footpaths staying away from the roads as far as possible.
We are always pleased to meet new walkers and enjoy the company of well behaved dogs. We walk for about 2½ hours, around 5 miles, returning in plenty of time for lunch. As well as enjoying the walk and the company of other walkers, we want to keep our footpaths open and any problems found are reported to the appropriate authorities.
If you would like to walk in the countryside but are unsure of the paths then why not come with us?   We have walkers of all ages and no-one is left behind; we never race along and for us, chatting to other walkers and taking in the views are just as important as walking.
We start at 10am, usually on the 3rd Sunday of the month, from the Lyminge Post Office car park – except for June, July and September when we start from Rhodes Minnis Village Hall car park, and for August, when there is no walk.
If you are interested, just turn up on the day or for more information call 86 2015.
PLEASE NOTE: The Walk will be cancelled if it is raining at 9.30am
